Men's no tie shoes?
Any recommendations for men's shoes that look like sneakers but slip on and off easily? Preferably without the appearance of laces that he would still attempt to tie. TIA

There are some very clever "slip-on" which are different from the usual slide in shoes shoes now carried by Kizik, Orthofeet and Skechers. There are now TV commercials appearing for Skechers. Some of these shoes have the appearance of laces but are not actual for use; others have no laces but are just the appearance of "slip-on." Those who have them seem to be satisfied and say they have no problem with slippage inside the shoe. Shoes are pricey; if ordering online, I would check the return policies before buying - I learned this the hard way. Skechers of course also have stores pretty much almost everywhere. There may be a difference in quality between brands; would not know until seeing and trying them.
To repeat; these shoes are different from the older type slide in shoes that come off the feet a bit too easily.

Skechers and Kiziks both make step-in shoes that might work.
Folks on the Spousal Board rave about the Kizik's which are the OG step-ins.

There also are shoes with velcro straps, so you won't attempt to tie them since there are no laces.
The step-in shoes mentioned earlier are fine, but since they have an elastic, it sometimes isn't as tight around my ankles as a strap or a real lace.

Thanks. I'm trying to avoid velcro as well. Part of the problem is that dad shouldn't be bending over to tie or velcro shoes; and he has edema. So I'm looking for easy slip on shoes with some "give" for days when he's more swollen.

My DH wears these daily and really likes them.

You also may want to look at long handled shoe-horns to avoid bending to slip on the shoes.
I have Ecco shoes with tie-less stretch laces, and don't need to adjust laces to put them on, as long as I use a shoe-horn.
