Try Amazon birdhouse children. Building may be a two person task but the painting either one or two

    Judith, this is just inspired and i don't know why I didn't think of it before!! Today I took a rock painting kit that I had bought for my granddaughters--and we had a blast, she was happy and engaged all afternoon. We made them into plant markers to put in the vegetable garden. I'll be on a mission to Michael's or Hobby Lobby as well as Amazon, I'm sure I can find things to keep us busy. It'll be a change-up from the drawing and painting on paper. Wind chimes, bird houses and feeders, suncatchers...I'll find them I'm sure. We have several absolutely charming birdhouses she made back in the day..these won't be as fancy, but as long as it keeps her busy then it is serving the purpose.

    Here you go! Garden markers....she was thrilled. Wants to keep them in a little basket so that's next.....gotta love the strawberry, she did that one--the rock was pocked so it was a natural.

    Not everyone would have used those "pocks"...that is a creative moment

    What's next?.....some seeds,,,I think Merigolds are relatively failsafe

    WOW! Thank you for sharing; I really enjoyed seeing them; of course the strawberry's clever painting is my favorite. Seems you have found a well accepted activity. Delighted your Partner was so happy with the activity and the outcome. Wonderful to have found a winner.

    She made me want to plant a big garden. And it's August in NW Indiana. 😣 This year I didn't even have a tomato plant. Glad she's enjoying making those. And it looks so good, I want to taste that strawberry.
