I have the memories

A few days ago, one of my daughters found a video camera that had a cartridge in it from our 50th anniversary party, almost 16 years ago. The camera had been put away before anyone saw the video, and now she found it. What happy memories!!

It was great to see all the kids who were there, and now some of them are in the workforce, with others ready to graduate from high school, or they're in college. But the best part was that I got to see my wife before dementia hit. She was happy, I was happy, and everyone had a good time.

She died 6 months and 4 days before our 65th anniversary. But I have the memories.
