I have paid close attention to your posts as I also saw great similarities in our dementia world. Particularly, the RV life. I was in the medical field for decades and my experiences included geriatric nursing and pharmacy so I had some knowledge as to what to expect. It was certainly way more complex than I imagined. We never got to RV travel full time because we were struck by this disease before I retired. After I retired, I solely managed four RV trips 5 to 6 weeks duration and almost 4,000 miles each. That was very difficult without my DH help. It is 40 feet with three slides and I tow a Jeep. I didn’t take the rig out this year and am thinking about scaling back to a smaller van type. I rented a cabin north of Seattle for a week instead. Take good care of yourself on this journey. Caring for myself has been my weakness. I know I need to try harder with that.
