Parent always wants to go home…

Hello, I’m new here and my family needs assistance. My Mom constantly talks about going home and feels like her home of almost 50 years is not her home. We constantly reassure her that she’s safe but she’s getting really agitated to the point where she’s stating that she wants to be hospitalized or put in a home. Her outbursts are happening more often and we’re at a loss on how to make her feel safe. She’s a middle stage Alzheimer’s patient and it’s so heartbreaking. Any suggestions are welcome…
