Mom is no longer ambulatory and very heavy, and doesn't sleep.

Hi, I am sorry that there are no definitive answers. It may never feel like the right time. But, if you believe she will receive good care and you are physically un able to continue her care at home it may be time. You’re not abandoning your mom. You will still be able to visit with her and will have a peace of mind, knowing that she is getting well taken care of. If your mom can’t sleep, then you can’t sleep. Without sleep, you cannot function physically, or mentally well. Blessings
