QuickZip Sheets? Are they worth it?

Has anyone used the QuickZip sheets or something similar? They are expensive and just wondered if they are worth it vs just layering regular sheets. My daughter is coming over to help me put a waterproof mattress pad on the bed and I want to do at least an extra layer while she's here. So far no bed wetting but he's started the problem with not making it to the bathroom in time or dribbles wetting underwear and clothing & having to change multiple times a day and this week he couldn't figure out how to change his underwear and shorts. He put the new underwear on over the wet ones and put his shorts on backwards. I fear next is incontinence. https://quickzip.com/

It's hard to say.

Make sure the waterproof cover on the bottom is a 6-sided zip version. If you're going to double layer, you'll need another waterproof layer between the top and bottom sets of bedding.

I have a friend who had the QuickZips for her son's toddler bed; he was out of a crib early before he was able to be dry at night. On the nights he flooded the bed, the sides got wet too and needed washing and TBH, it was just as easy to use a fitted sheet as zip all the way around.

I can’t speak from experience using those, but I have a 9 year old with intellectual disability who still wears Pull-Ups at night (Eg is 100% incontinent of urine every night; never of stool). She also gets frequent large nosebleeds and I’ve had to strip her bed many nights. I considered a Quick-Zip type sheet but ultimately decided they were too expensive and would still risk getting wet. I didn’t even layer fitted sheets. I just bought lots of cheap fitted sheets. I also encased her mattress in a waterproof zip up cover and used a waterproof mattress pad on top. That mattress has been spotless, odorfree, etc. Target Threshold ultra soft makes great inexpensive fitted sheets. I hope this helps.

6 sided waterproof mattress protecter then multiple layers of sheets and pads. You just peel off the wet layer as needed.

I always used the pad made for cribs.
