    Very, very interesting Marta; thank you for sharing that article, that trial is certainly significant in its findings. Wonder if the study participants were all one gender or if both genders were included.

    M1; thank you also for looking for an editorial; I will keep looking here to see if it was found. (I no longer have access to the NEJM,)

    I wonder how they determined who had elevated beta-amyloid levels without evidence of cognitive impairment?

    No editorial. Iris these folks were mostly being followed because of a family history of dementia (75%). 60% of the study participants were women.

    But that doesn't answer the beta-amyloid question.

    Iris - beta amyloid PET scanning was performed.
