Dad died last night

I’m grieving hard today after four days of seeing my dad actively dying from vascular dementia. His decline came on suddenly after a series of mini strokes and a fall. It was rough. I’m exhausted from crying and staying up with him. I miss him so much and trying to adjust to this new reality. I told him I loved him several times a day and thanked him for being the best dad. He’s at peace now.
