Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. My mom is 89 and has been living with us for 7 years. The past three have been progressively worse for her condition. I'm told she is in late stage, but that everyone is different and you never really know. She has lost 20 pounds, struggles with all tasks and now her feet are blue and her hands are slowing turning. She is sleeping about 17 of 24 hours. Lots of dilusions, paranoia, wandering and doesn't know us most of the time. Today I just feel like this is never going to end and I'm hating her struggle.

You might consider calling Hospice for an evaluation…
