Help! DH just kicked out Adult Day Care due to sudden personality chsnge

Very kind and good natured, DH is now mean irritable sarcastic and less social. Doesn’t like anybody. Asked to remain at home until evaluated by physician. Likely a. Can anyone give me some advice? Do meds help? This was my only respite. So distraught.

    You will want to rule out an UTI asap. Left untreated, these can be quite serious.

    So sorry to hear this happened to you. I would say anything sudden like this does merit immediate evaluation.

    When my DH swings nasty it is usually because he is sick, or will be in the next day or so. Last time it was COVID, time before it was tummy. UTI are often the culprit. When he feels better his attitude will too, hopefully. Sorry, know your not alone.
