    Thank you for posting both articles. I hope they post more about the 8 year study. Two years still leaves a lot of us close to the beginning. However it does seem they had a number of people who went into facilities during those two years. I’d like to see them delve more into the affect on the health of the caregivers.

    Excellent article, HB. We're with Swank rather than UPenn. I'm definitely going to recommend a similar program to the social worker there. If not a possibility, I wonder if I could get into the UPenn program - I'm certain I could benefit from an experienced mentor. I go to the monthly caregiver support group at our local council on aging but honestly feel like I have learned more from this forum than at the group (and frankly, being at least 20 years younger than the other participants, makes me feel a little awkward).
