Bad Dreams

My wife is in Stage 3 or 4 but except for serious memory problems is getting along pretty well. Over the past year she has had a few bad dream episodes. During the night she will start crying out and seems in distress. I wake her up and she goes right back to sleep and does not remember anything about it in the morning. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

DH was having night terrors where he thought someone was trying to kill him, or that he was falling into the abyss backwards, or being sucked into a dust cloud, or his dead relatives were calling him to join them... bottom line felt like he was dying. On these nights, his bloodcurdling screams were straight from a horror movie. He does fall back asleep but often remembers the dreams. His neurologist reduced dosage of donepezil and no more night terrors so far.
