DH within last three months cannot walk very well,he has lost his joy

It Seems that every three months DH takes a huge step back. He can barely walk now, is sad most of the time. Put him on lexipro due to angry outburst snd in need of a mood lifter. Hdd Ed Chas been asked to stay home from ADS. He was diagnosed with AD in April 2022.

Has anyone else experienced this rapid of a decline? Any advice, insights appreciated

I am sorry to hear this is happening. Has he been seen by the doctor - bloodwork and urinalysis checked? Sometimes new meds can create issues - for example, there's a med that my mother is on and, if she is on a too high dose, she cannot stand/walk. It's a small change in dose too that does it.

I recommend ruling out anything medical and reviewing all meds to see if there might be another cause.

Would a course of physical therapy help?
