IT'S BEEN AWHILE...

Hello to everyone,

I've been reading many posts and responding sporadically, but wanted to reach out to all of you to let you know that you are in my thoughts daily.

We had a funeral Mass for Bob last weekend, and a gathering back at our house. Our grand children all participated in the service-this was their first family funeral, and I think the ritual was helpful for them. Little did we know that it would be followed by another funeral this weekend as their good friend, (my student) was in a fatal car accident just down the road. It was heartbreaking to see all of these young people grieving. This is just not the natural order of things, is it?

So this week we will remember what we are thankful for, and I will remember how grateful I am to have been a member of this group. I am thankful for all of you.

Moving on, but not away,
