Scared of the Future changes.

Hi everyone I hope all had a blessed thanksgiving. I am starting to feel a little scared of the future with my mom. She mentioned today that she doesn’t remember our Christmas’s of when my brother and I were little. It seems her memory is slowly slipping more this year. I fear this may be one of our last holidays that she truly remembers. I pray not, but I’m learning to just enjoy each day with her. I am slowly doing more and more for her and trying to go with the changes. Some days I do better than others. We are still blessed because she does still do so well and knows who I am and still talks to her friends. I know we need to plan for the future but that scares and overwhelms me so much, so I do it on days that it doesn’t bother me so much. I’m looking into more resources to help us financially as I care for her full time but only get so much as a caregiver. Some days are so frustrating and others are truly joyful. I guess I just wanted to share a little and I love to support everyone provides each other here. It makes this journey feel a little lighter and less lonely. Thank you.
