Christmas gifts for someone with Alz

My wife has advanced Alzheimer's. She cannot walk or talk. What do others suggest for Christmas gifts for her?

Welcome Rob. You will probably get more responses if you post your question on the Spouse/Partner board.

Hi Rob. Welcome to the forum. I'm thinking items that appeal to her senses. Maybe photography books you can look at together. A really soft blanket or sweater. Some sort of special treat (my husband loves chocolate). Some nice lavender lotion that you can rub on her hands. She may not remember the day, but she will know the feeling that you give her. Merry Christmas to you both.

A cuddly soft stuffed animal might be a good gift.

Nice lotion that smells nice but does not overwhelm in scent; a pair of those chenille "butter socks" to wear in bed; lovely soft and keep feet warm; if she eats and enjoys; anything she likes. If she likes to listen to music; something she would enjoy.

Perhaps someone to come in and wash and cut her hair? A new warm soft nightgown?
