Weighted blanket

Anyone have good results with these weighted blankets?

My DH didn't care for a weighted blanket he received as a gift.

The use of weighted blankets is not something that's best free-balled. Ideally you would have an OT with sensory processing training select the weight and schedule for use. They can be calming and inprove sleep for some but shouldn't be used if the person is frail or has arthritis.

calming effect is what I was hoping for. I worked with severe and profound kids at a school and we used these sometimes.
