Hello! My dad has been battling Alzheimer’s for many years. He has been in the advanced stages as far as communication and understanding but was able to walk and eat. He suddenly has been unresponsive for 3 days. This was alarming to us and I wanted to know if this is normal? Is he at the end?

Hi mjhowgill - welcome to 'here'

How 'unresponsive'? If it was that sudden from walking and eating, to nothing, do notify his doctor. It could be a UTI or it could be something else going on. By chance do you have a hospice team on-board?

Hi! Thank you for your response. Sadly, my dad died the day after my post. We don’t really know what caused the rapid decline but he is now at peace.
