Aging in place/ downsizing our home

Dad and I plan to keep Mom at home as long as possible. We all live together and will be moving soon. Any ideas for the transition for Mom with advanced Alz. Of course safety like confounding locks on doors and gates. Our current home is two stories and very large 4200 ft The new home is on one story with no carpet 2500 ft . Mom is incontinent a lot of the time and needs direction to the bathroom almost all the time I thought about putting up some signs. 🙏🏽

    Good luck with the move Pat. If she's incontinent (stage 6 or late 5), signs probably will not work, though you can try. The new layout sounds very promising though.
