Pernicious Anemia now Alz.

Has anyone else had a family member that has Pernicious Anemia and now has Alz also?

Welcome Kimberly. Pernicious anemia can be a dementia mimic. Make sure treatment has been instituted before a diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease.

welcome to the forum. Iris is right, B12 deficiency can cause neurological problems in addition to anemia-evaluation for dementia should always include a vitamin B12 level. But it sounds like you've been given both diagnoses here?
