Looking for a therapist for me, the oldest daughter

I've been dealing with the emotional toll of the long goodbye to my mother with dementia and my angry, old-school father. Fortunately, mom is receiving excellent care in a facility and dad is in an apartment in the same complex. But I'm tired of ranting to my husband, grown children and friends. I'm tired of the bouts of depression that hit me out of nowhere. I could really use a therapist familiar with MC issues to get me thru the next few years. I've put calls in to our local university memory care clinic and have received no response. I've been meeting with a support group but feel I need more. Any ideas on how to get help for me? In person or virtual would be fine.

Have you asked your support group for a therapist recommendation? Just a thought. Word of mouth is usually good on these things.

Also call the Alzheimer’s association, or your local chapter. Even your city/state department on aging. There are great resources for caregivers - fortunately I already had a therapist, but it is AWESOME you are reaching out for one. I have found it to be so helpful during this time.
