in I Am a Caregiver (General Topics)

Mom passed away today, about four hours ago, surrounded by family. Just wanted to pop on quick to mention... I'll probably be scouring the forum for things about the "eighth stage" with any spare time I have.

    I'm so sorry. Sending prayers your way & wishing peace for yourself as well. You worked so hard to keep her comfortable, she would have been aware of it.

    I’m very sorry you’re now dealing with this grief, one of the worst, of losing your mom. You’ve been a strong warrior through all of this, though I know how hard it’s been. Thank you for sharing here with us. Be patient with yourself. I hope you find some peace and comfort soon.

    @CatsWithHandsAreTrouble I'm so sorry about your mom. I know nothing about your situation has been easy, but know in spite of the hardships, you did a great job taking care of your mom and handling everything.

    Please get some rest and take care of yourself.
