New to the group.
My mom has VD. She has been sick for over a year and lives with me (4 years ).
She has other health issues as well. 100% nutrition from a feeding tube.
She can go from calm to upset within a few minutes.
Anything you have found to bring back the calm.

Sometimes walking away for 15 minutes helps. Redirecting is a new approach I am trying.

Thanks for any advice.

Surquil is what my MIL has been taking maybe a month now. It's really helped ALL of us. Keep reading and learning from others going through this wretchedness disease ❤

Seroquel is what helped my VD FIL. For a year just half a pill helped with mood & even sleep. Then insomnia hit & they gave him 25mg . That helps pretty good with his mood. For the moment. From what the neurologist said, it can help then stop, it can help a lot, it can not help at all...everyone reacts different. It definitely helps him with agitation.
