Hi All- New to this forum. Thanks everyone for being open and offered support. Makes you realize there are so many of us in the same boat.

Caring for my homebound/immobile Mother for the past two years. Diagnosis of Dementia/AlzD/Lewy........even the experts can't figure this thing out.

Mom took a turn Saturday morning and slipped into speaking gibberish and basically sleeping all day. Also started vomitting........not exactly sure what is going on, but reading thru various of these posts, could just be the next step forward in this awful process.

Doctor/NP coming this Morning, so we will see where we go.

Please keep good thoughts for us, and know I am praying for everyone on these forums.

You'll learn more here than a doctor could ever begin to explain. Keep us posted, my concern is the vomiting. So many viruses going around.

MY MIL is about the same condition. Hugs and prayers

Hi mcmallets - welcome to 'here', but sorry for the reason.

agree - that is concerning. Thoughts and ((hugs)) to you.

also agree that I've learned more here than through anything the docs have said.

Sounds ominous. Do you have hospice on board? Perhaps it is time? Keep us posted.
