I just joined this online group. I am a caregiver for my Dad who has Alzheimer's. He is approaching the middle stages now, and was diagnosed in January 2022.

Welcome. I’m so sorry about your dad. It’s a tough road. I’ve found so much support here and I hope you will ask well.

Welcome but sorry you need this place. Ask, vent, share anything about your dementia journey with your dad as there are many wise and supportive folks who have or are going through this too. They’re one important reason I was able to survive.

M&M is so right when it comes to the folks here in this forum. We need each other. This disease is horrible and what it does to families is heartbreaking. My husband and I sometimes like today just sat and cried we are at wits end. MIL is medicated and still strong as a mule and mean as hell. We're so ready for this to be over. Sounds bad right. We're just so tired.
