In-home memory care

Wondering if anyone knows of in-home memory care or resources for my mother who has early-mid stage Alzheimer’s and is recently widowed. She doesn’t need full-time care yet (and is resistant to it), but my sister’s and I were thinking it would be great to incorporate more routine and maybe someone who could play cards with her or ??? Just trying to learn what’s even possible. Thank you!

If you can afford to pay out of pocket, you can hire a companion for her. Another possibility might be to enroll her in a day program. Our memory care facility runs one, and your local Alzheimer's Association may have a list of programs in your area.
