Wearing clothes
Hello I'm new here. Would like some kind of advise on how to keep my mother dressed. I get her dressed in pjs or a house dress . She ends up taking it off. She also is in diapers and she takes that off too. We've been playing this game of her taking off her clothes and me putting them back on. She also will strip the bed down to the mattress. I'm so tired of this. It's wearing me down. Can you please give me some ideas?

Hi Dani and welcome. There's a clothing company called Buck and Buck (try buckandbuck.com or Google it) that sells clothes that fasten in the back and cannot be removed. The bed is a bit harder- though you could at least get clips that go under the mattress that will keep the fitted sheet on (I'd Google sheet guards or sheet clips). Good luck-

Check out Buck and Buck online. They have some jumpsuits and other clothing that zip up in the back so a person needs help dressing and undressing. There are probably other companies that cater to adaptive clothing as well. I hope you find something that works for you. Also I have seen sheets that zip on and off online. A quick google search should bring up some names. Maybe even Amazon.
I wish I had other ideas. Best of Luck!

Hi Dani,
Not sure about the clothes coming off all the time, but I ended up locking the bedroom when not in use, put locks on my closets, panty and other areas of the house that DH would open and not need to be in (He figured out all the toddler proofing locks and gadgets🤪). Purchased inexpensive locks, turned them the opposite way so they could only be opened with the key or coin I kepted in my pocket. When he tried a door and couldn't open, I blamed it on being broken and I would have someone come fix it. After awhile, he got tired of trying them. I discovered the less space I gave him in the house to wander gave me piece of mind that I knew where he was when I couldn't see him with the eyes. Hang in there!
