Best brand of adult underwear?
What is the best brand of adult underwear? Especially as far as fit and comfort for LO...

I think it depends on who/what you’re looking for. We tried quite a few brands of “pull-ups” and a couple different sizes. I still had to alter them for moms comfort. When we switched to tabbed briefs (adult diapers) we just used what hospice provided. As long as they were comfortable enough and absorbent enough they worked. Sorry I don’t have a precise recommendation other than trying a few different ones.

I didn't realize it was a complicated question. But to be specific, pull ups for a woman. What do you mean you had to alter them?? I am not interested in altering disposable underwear.
There must be specific brands that people have found were better and more comfortbale for their loved one. I have bought several for my mom and she doesn't like any of them for various reasons. Hence...my question...
I'm not asking for advice here, just any particular brands people can recommend? If not, no need to respond of course.

I have read here that a web site called parentgiving.com has sample products that you can order as a way of finding the best fit and absorbency. (There may be other websites as well). I haven’t actually had a need to try there products as my mom wears Always Silhouette pull-ups by Depends. I’m thinking these aren’t as absorbent as some but she mostly needs them as a just in case she can’t get to the bathroom in time situation. I replaced all of her regular undies with these after a couple of dampness incidents and she has never complained or maybe even noticed the difference. Good Luck, I hope you find the best product without much hassle!

You may also want to try adding a booster pad to the briefs for extra absorbency.

I altered them by tearing the break away side seams down about 2 inches. If I got a larger size they didn’t fit right in the crotch but her hips made the correct crotch sized briefs too tight. Sorry, I had to look it up, it’s been awhile. Good Luck!
we used these: Depends Silhouette

It actually is very complicated. You will find that each brand has many, many different styles and absorption levels. For instance, I buy the brand Tena for my mom. But the only ones i like are the Proskin Briefs because they have max absorbency. We tried many, many different brands and styles before settling on these. It really is trial and error.

We started using regular Depends women underwear. Tried 2 generic brands but the name brand depends held up better. When she started having more accidents through those, we went to the Depends Overnight underwear and those have been fantastic. All the Depends come in different sizes but the size chart they have worked great for us.

My sister selected Always Discreet underwear for our mother. Thankfully she accepted the transition to these underwear. Yes she does put the in the washer as she thinks they can be laundered. She is 90 y/o and has been wearing them for 2 years. Currently she is totally bladder incontinent.

We use exclusively Amazon brand incontinence underwear. I have used Depend as well as Always Discreet and they are all similar for comfort. What I like best about Amazon though is that when they are fully saturated they don't explode into a million little gel pearls that get everywhere. Both Depend and Always underwear are a nightmare that way. We DO use Always Discreet PADS inside the Amazon underwear for extra protection. The pads use the same gel pearls but are far less likely to explode than the underwear.
