Ghost/seeing things
Does anyone see ghosts I see white flashes constantly when I am sitting in my chair at night. And occasionally I see shadows today waiting for my wife at the Dr I thought I saw something walk in front of the car.

I've been telling myself it has to be my medications. I see shadows usually from my side view. Couple of times I have forgotten where I am sitting in my chair. It's like my living room morphed into somewhere I should know but don't and it scares the crap out of me. That it's happening also scares me.

This is EXACTLY how I feel. I'm glad that I'm not the only one

I'm sorry you are experiencing it too but also glad it's not just me. I have tried to explain it to my hubby but with it not happening to him he can't really get what's happening and how scared I am.

I see shadows to the sides of me and sometimes glimpses of people, rather blurred. I have become used to them as it has been going on for awhile.

I have the same issue with seeing things that are not there too. What about smells? Does anyone have that issue? Right now I see a bald person standing in the distance and I go look it’s not there

I don't have any trouble smelling yet. There was something or someone in my bedroom last night it was talking to me and it scared the sh-t out of me. I thank God for my wife she knows how to calm me down. I told her that and she said don't thank me that's why I am here to help you through this disease.

David, I know you recently had a doctor's appointment. Did the doctor mention anything about Lewy Body Dementia? It can be associated with vivid hallucinations and vivid dreams.

Yes she told me about it and she it might have some thing to do with Parkinson also. I am going to have a nuclear test on my mind if insurance approves it to see what's going on

I can't remember the actual test name but it is supposed to help me figure out what is actually going on it will not stop it but maybe slow it down. I will let you know when I find out'

My doctor recently put me on a new medicine (I cannot remember its name) to help me stop having hallucinations at night and it seems to be doing its thing. I can now sleep at night without having any nightmares. How ever I still see small "white clouds" floating around me when I am sitting in my chair at night my wife calls them "my Guardian Angels".

This is good news, David. Getting good restful sleep at night will help you. I'm glad your wife is supportive about your guardian angels.

I have had some hallucinations, but it has been over a year. The Dr I was seeing then, changed one of my meds. I saw our yard looking like it had been prepared for plant by a tractor & a leafless hedge that was over 4' high. It was really hard to walk through a hedge! I wonder if I should tell anyone?? Dogs are Sleeping now & not singing or snoring

YES tell someone I am glad that I told someone now I know that I am not alone.

Thanks, David 1946,
Sometimes I feel like I share too much at the Dr office. But I don't know what is & isn't important. My mother told me she was hit by a car, while in a crosswalk, crossing the street & was pregnant with me. Just recently, she added, I was born 2 days later. Perhaps that contributed to my TBI status??

Hi everyone, My ghosts are back for the longest time I was only visited by what my wife calls "My Angels" small white puffs of smoke. Now tonight while making supper some kind of black figure "flew by" the kitchen window while I was in front of the microwave and it scared the sh-t of me. I told my wife about it and she said "at least it did not get in the house" This made me laugh and changed my mood
