At our neurologist appt on Friday, the Dr. was so impressed by the way I was handling my DH when he keep looking at me that she said she could use my skills. My DH said she’s available to start tomorrow (haha smart alec). And then he proceeded to tell her how hard I was to live with. He told me on the way home, she was OK for a woman💕 So thanks to all, I didn’t tell her I learned everything I know from you guys💙

More power to you wose. Was the doc helpful? Did you tell her about the difficulties you’ve been having including his aggression?

Thanks, I liked her, but I had to prompt her several times unfortunately on the driving aggression issue. But finally she told him he has to take another test with the DMV. When that letter comes, it will be challenging for sure. He would not agree to antidepressants. He only agreed to try Arreicrpt but hasn’t taken it yet.

So glad to hear this. Your hard work is being appreciated by the doc, at least.

Others have reported their loved ones with dementia passing driving assessments. One person helped their LO fill out the forms, which I wouldn't recommend.

Before the assessment, explain your concerns. Make sure they understand the behaviors you're seeing.

Until then, you must stop him from driving
