Your comments have been perhaps the most helpful of any. I had to try to bring him home, for my own peace of mind that I had done all I could. It's very clear now that he has to be somewhere else. Thank goodness the work done by the hospital case manager is still usable. Now I need to get a doctor outside the hospital to order his meds, and an evaluation from the facility -- plus furniture, clothing, and other supplies for his room. Most of that is scheduled so he will probably move in 3 or 4 days, but it still seems too long to manage. He doesn't sleep and is restless, agitated, delusional. Not dangerous at all but I just can't ever get to sleep myself. Holding on by my toenails and glad that there is an end in sight.

Jazzma I hope you're right....I just worry that if he's not stable they won't accept him and will send him right back to the hospital. Will be thinking about you.
