I'm sorry, MissElizabeth. This is a devastating disease, for the family as well as the sufferer. Cry as much as you need to. Give your grief time and space. I'm so sorry. Hugs to you!

I'm so sorry. It's ok to feel relieved and sad at the same time.

I am sorry for the loss of your dear momma.
Give yourself the grace to feel whatever you feel-- there is no right way to grieve. Wishing you peace and strength as you go forward.

So sorry, just cry it out and she's in a better place. Praying you will rise up from this wretched disease and move on happily and have peace.

I remember going through this with my father, who was suffering from cancer with no hope of recovery. I went from praying for him to return to health, to praying to please take him soon so he wouldn't be in so much pain.
When he finally passed, I was both distraught and happy. It's certainly a combination that is hard to reconcile, and I don't blame you for feeling conflicted. I suspect I'll feel the same way once my mom passes.
Just know Momma is in a much better place, and is free from all the hurts of the world.....

So sorry on the loss of your mom. I agree with Emily23 - soooo many emotions can hit at once. You will get through this. Give yourself all the time you need.

So sorry you lost your momma, I understand unfortunately. Please be patient with yourself as you grieve now and in the future. Get the rest and quiet you need. Even though there might be a sense of relief, the loss is real. My heart goes out to you.
