My LO has urinary incontinence. Does anyone's LO have success with just pads? Especially at night.

For complete bladder incontinence in a woman? Probably not.

Pads are designed for leakage related to stress (coughing, sneezing, exertion) or urge incontinence (not being able to hold the stream until you're on the toilet) If your mom is wetting herself in her sleep, this will probably not be enough protection.

Poise does make a "#8" for streams that has a wider back. If she's a back sleeper they might work.

Also, bowel incontinence will be the next stage, so a brief or diaper style will eventually be needed.

Companies like Northshore Products and Parentsgiving do offer samples so you can try different styles.

My sister selected Always Discreet underwear for our mother. Thankfully she accepted the transition to these underwear. Yes she does put the in the washer as she thinks they can be laundered. She is 90 y/o and has been wearing them for 2 years. Currently she is totally bladder  incontinent.
