DH having severe headaches

DH is stage six and has been complaining of headaches above his eyes snd the side of his head I gave him Tylenol but still in pain Has anyone else experienced this with their LO ?

I appreciate your experience

    Try an antihistamine and a decongestant. There are sinus cavities in those areas and he may have allergies. When my sinus headaches get too bad, it feels like someone is putting my head in a vice just behind my eyes

    I do not know where you are but spring brings and pollen etc can cause havoc.

    make sure whatever antihistamine you use isn't an anticholinergic.

    Benadryl (diphenhydramine) has anticholinergic properties that can make cognitive function worse in a dementia patient. I found that out the hard way early in my DW's dementia journey. She took one 25 mg benadryl and was loopy for a day or two.

    Yes, my husband complained of daily headaches and or stomachs for over a year. OTC medicines didn’t help. In his case, after ruling out everything else, it was finally discovered he was suffering with somatic delusions. Once he started on a low dose of Seroquel, the pain stopped within two days. If you search somatic delusions on this site, you’ll find more details about his circumstance.
