Mom is at peace

Her journey is over. She passed peacefully on March 4th. Her oxygen dropped drastically as her body shut down. She was on hospice since December 2021 after being in MC for 6 months. She was in such great hands and well cared for at the RCF she was in and for that I am eternally grateful. She was there for 22 months which was the 4th and final facility she was placed in.

I have not posted often, but am thankful for the input I have received in the past from all of you. It was always comforting to know that I was not alone. It was a rough journey as I did not have POA so my hands were tied with any decisions. That was all up to her husband. I did hire a case management team with a staff of RN's and LVN's that would regularly check on my mom. They were a huge support and so invaluable. I don't know what I would have done without them. Thanks for listening.

Heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your dear mom. Your headline says it all though. As we know, it is a great relief to know that she is finally free, and at peace. Wishing you the same, as well.
