To those whose Easter celebration looks different this year

Hello everyone. Happy Easter.

This will be my first Easter without my mother who passed at the beginning of the year. My heart goes out to all of you who are celebrating a bit differently this year. May you rest assured that Jesus did triumph over the grave and may you have that peace that surpasses all understanding as you face today with a new diagnosis, a change in health, or the loss of a loved one.

You and your loved ones are not alone. And for those who have lost someone, you will see them again.

Be kind.

    Hi @CatsWithHandsAreTrouble

It's nice to see you again. I've thought about you a few times and wondered how you're doing. I'm so sorry about your mom.

My Easter (which we celebrated yesterday) was different this year. My sister Peggy passed away earlier this month - we haven't even had her funeral yet. It's this upcoming Friday. The thread I started about her passing is here. Anyway, yesterday we did all the usual Easter things, but there was much talk about Peggy, remembering things she did, her cats, her band … a nice day, but bittersweet.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter today.
