How do you deal with emotions and confusion

I try not to let my emotions and confusion get to me but it is hard. But my wife Jeannie talks to me until I am no longer confused if we had not met at the senior center (we are only married 6 years we were both widows) I think I would probably have died by now she's the one who suggested that I see a doctor to find out what's wrong.

I have been placed on mood stabilizers and the dosage was just recently upped. It feels like I am overwhelmed daily which bring on emotional break downs crying just horrible spot. So hoping the increased dose does the trick. I was seeing a psychologist right at the beginning and he works with my neurologust doctor. Maybe talk to your doctor or neurologist team about your emotions being bigger.
As for getting confused my hubby is really good at reading me. I have PPA and it affects my communications. I struggle a lot more now than a few months back to understanding the meaning of what people are saying so hubby will explain it until I can get it .
But there are times when I lose where I am like the room changes somehow and it confuses me and scares me. I haven't told my hubby because I don't want him to think I'm crazy.

I am so sorry for all of us. However, I agree tgat our spouses, are the greatest and most critical support. And, my wife and I trust the Lord to give us comfort, wisdom, understanding and strength.
