My pleasure for those who said "thanks". I hope it is helpful.

@Iris L. I'm not familiar with that…? It is a National Institute of Health (NIH) , National Institute on Aging - 67 page book/let on "Caring for a Person With Alzheimers". I had not seen it before, and the information seemed helpful.

Thank you for the link ButterflyWings. I have downloaded the PDF and read through it.

Boy oh boy. Reading its 67 pages really shows how much work it is to be a caregiver. I am doing most of the tasks it lists and already following most of the advice it contains, but it is a real eye-opener to see it in print form.

No wonder memory care centers are so expensive. Caregiving is truly more than a full-time job. Each time I would read a task, I found myself wondering how I have any time left in the day at all.

So, next time someone suggests that I 'set aside some time for myself,' I will hand this booklet to them and ask which tasks they will take over while I set aside that time.

Thanks so much for sharing. This is a great resource.
