Those were the big highlights. She recommended that they put their home in a living trust. She gave us a valuable list of contacts for lawyers specializing in Soc Sec/SSDI, there were a couple of contacts for Veterans benefits. Per our location, we'll be going to the Long Beach, VA next Wednesday. We called ahead, and they take walk-in's; no appointment needed to get DB into their healthcare system. We need to bring his picture ID, and his DD-12 (information on his service and honorable discharge).

I should note DB is still working, so we're thinking through his exit strategy.
