Looking for tips with sundowning episodes

Hello everyone, very glad to have found this forum. So my mom’s dementia has progressed fairly fast since 2022. For the last month or so her sundowing episodes have been overwhelming. I would appreciate any tips and tricks you can share.

    welcome to the forum. You can look for Teepa Snow or Dr. Natalie videos about sundowning—but honestly your best bet is medication to tamp it down. hard to manage it by behavior modification alone. Talk to her docs. Atypical antipsychotics like Seroquel and Risperdal are very effective and can be dosed without oversedation.
