What do I do?

Hello everybody. I'm from São Paulo Brazil.

My mon had herpes zoster in her eye last year and had some mental problems afterwards. Her geriatric told me she was in the early stages of Alzheimer, to which I wasn't prepared. She lived by herself and did all on her own.

After the herpes, I brought her to live with me. In the beginning she was out of it, not sensing everything. At that time, a year ago, I had a job and could afford caretakers 3 times a week. But I was let go 1 month afterwards and didn't have the means to pay for them anymore.

So I started to take care of her. She is lucid, she smokes, she cookes and does the dishes, buy I had I place her bed in the living room, there was not more room, I even told her to exchange with me and she wouldn't... I use CPAP to sleeps and she snors a lot, hence we couldn't sleep together.

Every day she says she wants to go back to her place (I had to rent it and donate most of her things), and I'm so stressed my nails are falling down, my hair too, I'm taking a lot of vitamins prescribes by a doctor.

I'm bipolar and with little money to do therapy... I'm going crazy. No support group around here, and I cry and don't know how to handle the situation.

I'm all alone, only child, don't have any other family, and I'm divorced and have two teenagers who don't really help, despite I ask them to.

Any thoughts?

I can't afford a home and she is too lucid yo go to one right now. I'm still unemployed and living from her pension.

Things are rough.

Thanks f
