Wondering the stage

Over past 2 weeks lo has been picking poop out of her depends. She also places it in the depends bag with clean depends and in clean baby wipes container and other random places.

In IWhat Stage does this occur and is this something people with dementia do??

This is the staging tool I have found most help. I don’t think it lists your specific problems, but it still may be helpful.

It is something they may do. She may know she wants to dispose of it, or that it needs disposed of, but she’s unable to complete the task because the disease no longer let’s her identify objects or the steps correctly.
As for what stage, I’d say stage 6 if she’s incontinent of bowel, but without more information it might be better for you to look at the Alzheimer’s list, if she has Alzheimer’s. A person may not check all of the boxes on each stage, but the losses through the stages will follow this ( if it’s Alzheimer’s).

This sounds like stage 6— bowel incontinence. The handling stool is not universal but is a behavior for some which is one reason one piece garments are made.

These onesies look like regular outfits but zip up the back which limits this and also those who undress in appropriately.
