New day program was great until it wasn't

Thought we had a good thing going with DH new day program. He was having such a good time, happy to go in the morning and coming home in a great mood. It lasted 3 weeks. He aggressively escaped while the door was open for other clients to come in. DH ran out into the road, luckily he was not hurt. He is back in the hospital for a re-evaluation of meds. This is the 2nd hospitalization in 2 months. I just don't think I can keep him (or others) safe anymore, my heart hurts for what the future may look like.

    So sorry. I've been there. But I'm also here to tell you that MC is not the end of the world. Keep us posted.

    I would tend to agree with @M1 . I had to place my DH almost a month ago, and at least I can rest at night knowing he is safe. He had called an Uber from home and left for several hours…very scary.
