My mom is free now!

She was in hospice at her MC because of a fall that resulted in a neck fracture and brain bleed. She was in a lot of pain even with morphine and lorazapam every three hours. She wasn't eating any more except for a few sips of Insure and the CokaCola I brought for her everday.
She started actively dying about a day before she went. As I walked into her room yesterday morning I could tell she was gone. She was still warm and died probably within minutes of me arriving and before the staff check.
Journey well mom, I hope you are free to go wherever you want now.

    I am sorry for your loss. I understand the feeling of welcoming the relief for your mother. I’m glad you seem to have good balance of these feelings. Prayers for continued peace for you.

    I’m sorry for yet another loss. But I’m grateful her pain is over and you can focus your limited resources on one person. I was stunned when I realized you were caring for your DW and DM.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad you were able to be with your mom in her last days. I hope you both find some peace and rest.
