Olanzapine is less commonly prescribed than Seroquel, but is also an antipsychotic. Everyone responds in their own way and only time will tell whether it will help your loved one with the hallucinations. Are the hallucinations distressing to your loved one? Not all hallucinations are, and those do not need to be medicated.

hi , thank you for your input , almost 80 percent of the time my moms hallucinations have become very frightening to her , especially when she thinks these people have camera's installed in their houses and they can see her showering or getting dress . I'm just so skeptical of all these meds I don't want these meds to hurt her and eventually cause more harm than good ..

I had faith that Seroquel was the medication and she was going to stop hearing the voices , but I saw no improvement ..
