A quick thank you to whoever posted about making sure you have a room inside your home where you can lock yourself in for safety. No, I haven't needed to do that yet as DH is pretty quick to diffuse thanks to two antidepressants meds he's taking. However, he is starting to show a tiny bit of sundowning on occasion and I wanted to make sure I have options if he does get agitated to a point it's out of control.

There are now keyed locks on two rooms on each floor of our house. I was worried he would notice but so far he hasn't and the keys are being kept on a separate hidden keychain from my regular keys. The added bonus is I'm moving important items to those rooms so that I can lock them away if we have a caregiver come in or if he starts to rummage at some point. Well, I guess that's one less thing to think about, now I can worry about the other 999 items on my to do list!
