Product for missing the toilet?

hi all, my dad has moderate/advanced ALZ/Dem and is in AL. He is consistently missing the toilet when he urinates, and then becomes extremely irritated because he thinks the toilet is leaking. I see on Amazon there are many disposable “pee pad” products for around the base of the toilet, has anyone had luck with these? Main concern is whether it is a fall hazard, and whether one brand is better than another. Thanks for any help you can give!

I do not know about the pee pads. AL might or might not have rules about using them. Occasionally, missing the toilet is a vision thing, especially if it is a white toilet sitting on a white floor, in which case making the toilet stand out visually can work. Some have had their LOs sit to urinate, but I think that requires supervision.

My daughter has some kind of light in the toilet for her young boys. Probably on Amazon. I don’t know if that would be helpful or not. I can’t say that it has helped their aim much. I hope you can find something that works.
