Bathroom Help

My husband had begun getting to the bathroom just in there and will urinate on the floor. His walking is bad so I bought a bedside commode, put puppy pads under it since he doesn't always hit the pot, sat it on a computer chair mat so he wouldn't hit the carpet and this morning he stood up, did not even get close to the pot and went all over the puppy pad which was ok except he also went on the carpet and I'm sure he had to go on his feet as well. He climbed back into bed and went right back to sleep (I'm sure he wasn't awake) but never moved a muscle the whole time I was on cleaning up that mess only to go to throw away the mess I cleaned up only to see as I passed the bathroom to find he had at some point gotten up and went on the bathroom floor, not a lot so maybe he stopped and went to the toilet but I don't know. I don't know what to do to make it so I am not cleaning urine either in the middle of the night or in the morning before I am really ready to get up. They have told me he is in the stage of 6A according to THE FAST chart. I feel like he is going to zip right through the rest of the numbers. I'm starting to feel like I don't want to be here anymore but I love him too much to just leave or place him somewhere yet. I just needed to vent and see if anyone had any suggestions on toileting issues. Thanks for letting me vent.😫

Toileting and incontinence issues are the top cause of placement, so don't feel bad or a failure if that happens. He's going to need constant monitoring, which is exhausting.
