Side effects - Rivastigmine or Leqembi

Mornin, first post here. Wife,53, diagnosed with AD not long ago. On rivastigmine after terrible time on Donepezil and has had one infusion of Leqembi week before last. She’s had a couple days of “ just feeling like s**t” , but not too bad. Question is, has anyone witnessed a tightening of calf and lower calf muscles.? Really has bothered her the last few days.
Thx so much and I am looking forward to learning from this group as I’m just feeling my way through this and it’s not getting easier, surprise!

    Hi and welcome.

    Could she be dehydrated? Rivastigmine can cause GI issues that could lead to dehydration if she's not replacing the fluids. The hot weather could play into this. Gatorade might help.

    Does she have varicose veins? Be aware of blood clots. I don't know what side effects Leqembi causes. You might speak with the prescribing doctor.
